Hello and welcome to my site. Boy have things changed since I started this online journey! These days I am a mama to a beautiful boy named Finn, a partner to an incredible artist and person named Josh, and a traveling makeup artist and educator for Jane Iredale, The Skincare Makeup. Some things haven’t changed, my love for Beauty & Fashion and sharing how this busy mama balances time with my little one. I especially love sharing with my readers what I am constantly learning from my ever-changing self. As we age, life gets busy and we have less time for ourselves, on my blog, I show you how to take a few moments to be the best version of you! Being confident is the most beautiful thing a person can be.

What’s a typical day like for you?
Well every day is definitely different, but I start my day with waiting for my baby to wake up and get him ready to go. He is finally at the age that I am able to get my makeup and hair done while he plays in the room, which is nice. My work takes me to different cities every single day, and I love it! I am one of the lucky people who’s job is not a job, its my passion. I get to play with makeup and share my tips and tricks with lots of people. At night, after the babe is asleep, you can find Josh and I nerding out with our newest fun couple thing, Magic the Gathering. Yup, this girl is full glam and full nerd.
Finish this sentence, “On Sunday mornings you can usually find me…”
Making breakfast for my boys. Listening to Finn yell and sing in the family room. Sunday mornings are for food and cuddles and for dada to sleep in a little. Oh, and you will most definitely find me drinking a big ol’ cup of coffee on sunday mornings too.
How do you want people to remember you?
As kind. I think that is pretty much the most important thing. Bring kindness into this world. I want to teach my son this and live it every day.
What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job?
As a makeup artist, I get to work with different beautiful women, every single day. The thing I hope to bring to my clients and to my work is understanding. An understanding of women and their lifestyles, how busy we are and how to actually incorporate a little self care into their daily life. I think its important to always learn new techniques and not have an ego in this industry. I try to learn and be inspired by those around me!
Name three words that describe you.
Mother. Kind. Artist.
What’s a goal you have for yourself that you want to accomplish in the new year?
With the new year, my biggest goal is organization. I want to organize my life, I am not just talking about the physical organization of house and mess, but financial, mental, work and life just in general. I think as a mom there comes a point in your life were you just give up trying to be perfect and have everything be perfect. I reached that point a while back. What I need to concentrate on is getting all my chaos organized.
Name a few of your daily beauty habits.
One thing I don’t go with out doing is my lash serum Complete Lash. It has transformed my lashes! I swear ,I wake up just to see how much my lashes have grown. I also don't miss my skin care routine. Taking those few minutes to get your skin ready for the day or night make the difference in slowing down the aging process. I also don’t leave my house with out my brows and mascara on.
What are you happiest doing when you are not working?
Being with my family plain and simple. Life is about family. My work takes me away from my boys, my mom and dad, so when I am not working, I soak up every single second I can with them.
What is your number one beauty rule?
Confidence and a smile. Two most beautiful things you can wear.
What is a beauty trend you love to see this season?
Glowing yummy skin. It’s my favorite trend any season and all year long. Some of my must haves for my glowy skin is Omegas, Smooth Affair Primer and Liquid mineral mixed with Glow Time foundation. I get so many compliments on my skin now that I wear Jane Iredale, it makes this almost 40-something, exhausted mama feel mighty good!
