Hi ladies. I want to thank you for stopping by the Giorgio Armani counter. As promised here is a quick guide to help you achieve the perfect look for your event! I hope this tool helps and of course, please let me know if you have any questions.
Apply your skincare as usual, please allow at least 10 minutes before putting on any face makeup. This gives your skincare enough time to properly absorb into the skin.
Crema Nera Eye Cream :: Using a small amount, warm up on your ring finger and apply around the orbital bone ::
:: now time for makeup ::
Eye Concealer :: Apply to lid using brush and blend. You may also use your fingers to blend. Be sure to bring concealer all the way into the inner corner of the eye, it will brighten that area that is usually dark ::
Armani Eye Shadow Palette #6 :: Apply C to the crease and blend. This can be applied all through crease as long of you are applying it lightly and building pigmentation. Apply D to the outer corner of the eye and blend. Now its time for the lid, with a flat brush, tap A onto the lid. The should be place almost to the crease but not on the crease. Now take your trusty blender brush and only blend in the crease. You can play with smokiness here but adding more of D on the outer corner of the eye if you feel like having a more dramatic look. ::
Eye Tint :: Apply Eye Tint #12 onto the ball of the eye with your ring finger. ::
Eye Liner :: Lean head back while looking into the mirror, carefully lift lid and apply pencil to the top inner lash line. This is tricky to do the first couple of times, but you will get the hang of it! ::
Mascara :: Apply mascara generously to lashes ::
CC Cream Foundation :: Apply with fingers or brush ::
Concealer :: Apply concealer under the eye to the any areas of the face where your makeup usually wears off. If you want to practice with your corrector, here is a video to help with application. ::
Bronzer :: Using large powder brush, lightly apply to face in the shape of a "3" and "E". The secret is to good bronzer is building the coverage. Use video below as a guide on application.
Concealer Brush :: This is used to apply concealer under your eye or on areas that need to be concealed. I generally use such a small brush to apply not really to buff. Because it is small, you can also use this to clean up eye brows with concealer after apply your brow pencil. You will get more accurate clean line with this brush.
Smudged/ Outer Corner "V" :: This tiny brush is great for smudging shadow (like a dark brown or plum) under the eye for a smokey look. It can also be used to apply the darker color of shadow on the outer corner of the eye.
Crease Blender :: This is going to be your most used brush... your handy eye blender brush! This used to blend all the colors you apply to your eye. Don't forget our swipe, swipe, little circles blend.
All over/ Primer Blender :: This fluffy big eye brush is great for blending and buffing in any all over eye color or primer. This is what I would use if I need to apply a nude all over color or if I wanted extra blended in concealer on my lid.
Pointed Crease Brush :: This is the color you use to apply the crease colors. You follow by blending with your Crease Blender.
** The two brushes I didn't mention are your angled brow brush.
Eye & Face Brushes
Flat Shadow :: This is the brush that I used to tapped the lid shadow on with. It is shaped similar to the pad of your finger, so it will deposit more pigment! Use this with your rose gold shimmer shadow all over lash line to crease.
Flat shadow/ Concealer Brush :: This brush can be used as both a concealer (blender) brush or a flat shadow brush. It is larger, so it will deposit less color and be easy to blend the concealer.
Blush Brush :: This would be used to apply your blush in a shape of a check mark on the apple of your cheek.
Contour Bronzer :: This is the brush I would use to apply your bronzer over your blush as the more contoured look. This is a great angled brush!
Powder/ Bronzer :: This brush is used as a powder brush (which I know you don't use powder, but just in case you did find one you love!) or your 3 and E bronzer brush. Its big and fluffy so it will apply a very natural bronze look.
Ok, I hope that helps! Please let me know if there are any questions you may have.
