Ok, let's start off by stating the obvious...YES, it is a $200 foundation! Now that we have gotten past the sticker shock, lets learn about how UH-mazing this foundation really is and why it is worth every penny, for some out there. I received my #3 jar about a month ago. At first I was nervous about opening it because inside this box was a treasure. The packaging itself is gorgeous. A pearlish jar with a glossy black top, so pretty, so luxurious. Just holding it in my hand, I knew I was holding something special and I couldn't wait to get it on my skin!
Crema Nuda come in 6 shades, from a Nude Glow to Deep Glow. Here is the shade range:
What makes this foundation so special, you may be asking yourself. I turn to Armani beauty to word this for me, "A true multi-tasked: it treats, corrects and blurs the complexion. Infused with the Reviscentalis Resurrection plant, the specially blended formula helps improve skin radiance and reveal younger looking skin." Yes, it pretty much does everything you want a foundation to do. Simply put... Crema Nuda is an elevated CC or BB cream. So for you ladies out there who love to just keep it simple, but need extra hydration and plumping that your CC or BB might not be giving you, then Crema Nuda is here to give you all that you wanted (in a foundation at least).
On the skin, it feels moisturizing but not heavy. It gave my skin a glowy finish. The coverage is buildable from light to a light medium. I have been wearing it to work this week and like most other foundation I wear, I do have to powder my nose around lunch time.
Now let's break it down:
- Light Coverage
- Supreme Glow
- Easy 1 Step (Moisture, primer and color)
- Luxury treatment with Reviscentalis Ressurection plant extract
- Stays on well
- Beautiful color shades
- Luminous silk can be added on top for a red carpet ready finish to the supreme glow
Is this foundation for everyone, hmmm, maybe not. If you feel you have dry, lusterless, mature skin this might be the little punch of foundation you might need. I personally would use it more on the weekends when I want a little bit of evenness, or on those days my skin feels tight and dry in these colder months.
I understand that $200 is a hefty price. However, I will always stand by using good products on my face. We only get one in the world, might as well take care of it! Let me know if you want to try your sample today!
